Well you made it through John Wick so why not the Boondock Saints 1&2? While I love the Warriors (and being old enough to have seen it in the theatre) not sure that would be your cup of tea. Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are classics, as are Terminator 1 & 2.

The Warriors (1979) as I mentioned is an homage in John Wick 4, and while I love the movie (being old enough to be your father and seeing it in a theatre) I'm not sure it would be your cup-of-tea. Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are classics, and The Last Samurai would fit into the Shogun viewings you've done. Terminator 1 & 2 are beyond classics, and if you want classic anime I'd suggest Evangelion if you haven't see the old, or the newer remake.
