Short hiatus -- PLEASE READ

Sooooooo, here's the thing. :) I want to be totally honest with you guys and let you know that as of right now im considering going on a month long hiatus for a few reasons. Most importantly being that im overwhelmed with the work load I have in front of me, being that I have to ship out many kickstarter rewards on top of my normal stuff-- comic updates, livestreams, a 40 hour work week in a hospital switchboard, preparing for my upcoming con season, etc etc. Another reason being simply because my tablet is worn out and dying and I am going to have to buy another one soon...
I have never taken a real hiatus before, and I hate the very idea of it, but I'm realizing that this isnt totally abnormal for webcomic artists and writers. . . we all need breaks now and again-- usually they are just planned after a chapter or at the end of a book or whatever. This wasn't planned, and for that im sorry.
Here's what I think I want to do.
I think I want to take a couple weeks off to get all the kickstarter rewards out of the way. I want to set aside comic updates until I can come back to them wholeheartedly. This doesnt necessarily mean I wont be doing other artwork, or I will be totally dropped off the face of the Earth. You will see still see me around, and im sure I will be posting little things here and there.
I just gotta get myself back on track-- emotionally. Mostly...

You are allowed to put yourself before your art because the only person who can do it is you. And when you get back into things, remember to take your time and ease your way back up to where you are. It will take time to get back to where you are able to do as much as you used to, but the Maddicts will be here every step of the way. There is no need to rush. Be safe and have fun, Mads. ❤
