Added 2019-12-01 01:36:27 +0000 UTCIf you vaguely remember the scene at the indoor pool where Luca got his haircut-- Harlo showed up to warn Commander Nova about a Bastil who was looking for him in the "Assassins program". Harlo didn't know at the time, that Commander Nova had recruited Malik to go "Finish" Luca's assignment. (AKA kill the human who managed to kill his son, which he then later discovers is NOT dead, just wounded). Malik is looking for Nova because he wants answers. He wants the humans dead but he cant exactly just waltz in unprepared to do it-- especially because of the Class 1 human (who will sap his energy if he's too close).
Malik knows all too well what a Class 1 Human can do to a Bastil. What he doesnt know (What no one but Nova knows) is that Luca is unaffected by the Class 1 because of his origin.
