So lets review things from earlier in the comic, shall we?

Luca told us about the Human abduction program-- that's the one that he ended up in. Its the largest program the Bastil have. The easiest one to get into.

Malik is in the Human Assassin program -- this hasn't been explicitly said, but back in the beginning when Nova thought Luca was dead, he called on Malik to go get revenge on the human.

Harlo is in the Human Research Program - This is the program Luca WANTED to be in, but was not able to because he didn't look quite human enough for the job. This program is for studying Human behaviors, patterns, lifestyles, languages, medicines, procreating, ect. Basically, its just a lot of gathering data.

Now THIS ^^^^ that we are learning about now, is the Human Ranking program. These Bastil are the most-human looking in their physical appearance, and the ones who spend the most time around humans. Sometimes they even develop relationships with Humans in order to get closer/understand them better. This is the most dangerous program to be in-- All the Bastil that have died/been found out by Humans so far, have been in this program.
