Honorable Discharge - Cover design (?)
Added 2020-08-14 21:49:10 +0000 UTCI'm still not 100% sold on this as the cover because I keep going back and forth, unable to decide if i love it or if i want something completely different. But I wanted you guys to see it, so you can tell me what you think!
Things I do like about it --
- bright, easily noticeable
- delicious skin tones
- simple but very obviously gay
Things I don't like about it
-It's eye level, vs being more dynamic (like birds eye view or worms eye view)
- Stiff?? Kinda stiff.
- Not romantic. It shows the characters personality well, but it IS a romance novel... I'm torn.

Oh and also I'm drooling over the coloring and shading like... Ma'am I think you may have over done it in the ✨T✨A✨L✨E✨N✨T✨ department... Like...I'm... it's just so well done

2020-08-14 23:08:53 +0000 UTCOh my. I know you may be on the fence, but I can say from my point of view ..this is gorgeous. One: is conveys so much emotion in the both of them, not just the romance. Two: just the poses themselves give off this energy were we can SEE how the book is going to play out 👀 makes me want to read it EVEN MORE. Anyways. THATS JUST MY POV. I LOVE IT.

Maybe just trying adjusting the expressions or just making their foreheads touch maintaining the expressions? Sorry for the rant but I'm really looking forward to this novel 👀❤️

2020-08-14 22:01:57 +0000 UTCIts definitely A-typical. Traditionally romance novels do not have digital-art covers at all. So theres some truth to the fact that it just looks... a little odd??? This is something thats getting more common in self publishing but is still not what you'd see on a shelf in a bookstore

2020-08-14 21:52:56 +0000 UTC*stares at that bicep, and then torso* Sorry what? I was miles away there I think a adjustment to the facial expression might work better. It seems a bit too aggressive, I don't think Sage needs much alteration, but Beau's expression could be made more devious imho.
