Added 2021-06-16 20:01:00 +0000 UTCRowdy and I went back and forth a bit over whether or not it was appropriate to have Judas say "N'awlins" or "New Orleans" or "New Awlins" -- We settled on the latter because its the most accent-appropriate. You'll see when Judas is thinking the words "New Orleans" its spelt correctly, just not when he says it out loud lol.
Anyway! I know YOU guys all know the characters name's, but this is the first time they are saying it to each other in the comic! Hoorah~
Rowdy: Heyo - hope y'all're doing well! Judas is a good dude. I would've left Fletch for the vultures. Probably explains why my own lovelife is crap ha ha ha.

The first time Fletch will mention Les Lavelles is Chapter 2 - 16, Sep 8, 2021. I wonder whether Les Lavelles have hit it big enough that general people would recognize it? The hotel clerk who mentioned his "autograph" later on did.

2021-06-17 02:47:05 +0000 UTCNative Orleanians definitely don't really say N'Awlins so good call lol. I'd use it your way first to establish the accent, then switch to spelling out correctly. Personally as a reader, phonetic accents get pretty tedious to read after a while.
