Gabriel Beau - (older?)
Added 2021-09-07 12:01:38 +0000 UTCIt's been a bit since I've drawn my comfort character, Beau~ but after a rough last few nights at work (graveyard shifts at the hospital) and trying to catch up on comic panels, I felt the need to take it easy for a few minutes (seven, exactly... that's how long this sketch took)
Hope yall are staying safe out there. I hate to bring up covid because it seems like it's all around us and we can never escape it, but things really are bad right now. Rising numbers = overwhelmed health care workers and lack of bed space... its all very real. Not to mention, just a few minutes ago, a Karen told me to go fuck myself (and honestly, that would be more fun than talking to her lol).

People are making that really, really hard for anyone in the medical industry, and if it frustrates me, I doubt I could adequately imagine how much worse it is to be in the thick of it. Hoping you can get out of it soon. This is a beautiful piece, and I adore him. š I am always impressed by how much emotion you can capture in your art. Thank you for sharing your comfort piece.

We've had an upshot in cases but hospitalization are much fewer than what they would've been without vaccinations, if you want to see them working, then they are. Enough Covid talk. Beau looks a hottie there. He's gonna be Daddy material when he gets older for sure lol. Seven minute sketch? Looks amazing for just that šÆ Hope you get some much needed rest soon.
