HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TLLT <3
Added 2022-03-24 02:17:51 +0000 UTCI bet y'all werent expecting this today!!! But its been officially ONE YEAR since I started posting TLLT here on Patreon! (The technical date is March 24th but it was a Wednesday so... you get it). ANYWAY.
I can't believe this comic has been going for a whole year already, and I can't thank you all enough for your support. I was so, SO nervous when I decided that I needed to quit my previous comic back in 2020, and make a change to find inspiration again. I lost a lot of followers at that time and my moral was low. But thankfully with Rowdy's help (God I needed it) and those of you who stuck around, it was ultimately just a hard decision that lead to the creation of something better.
TLLT is an absolute joy to work on, and it grows more and more popular everyday. It even was just approved for Ad Revenue through webtoon! Which means the more pageviews I get the more $$$ I make off it. My patreon is climbing again, which means I can do more fun things like travel to conventions and hopefully meet some of y'all! And more importantly, I've found my momentum again. <3 I'm working like mad but the grind is good my friends... the grind is good.
Since it's been one whole year, I want to ask you guys-- What has been your favorite update of the comic so far and why??? Please don't be shy, I want to celebrate knowing your favorite moments!!!
PS - Judas is the older brother of two shithead siblings, how he didn't see this cake smash coming is beyond me. However, you can bet Fletch got it back twice as bad. <3

2022-03-24 08:42:49 +0000 UTCWould you believe me if I told you that when Rowdy and I were planning that scene from the very beginning, we were originally going to show Fletch's leg flying through the air.... like slow motion as Judas grows increasingly horrified. The idea of amping up the comedy was... always there-- however we decided not to do this because it's arguably in poor taste. And more than anything we want people (ESPECIALLY disabled people) reading to be comfortable with the progress of the story. -- Nevertheless!!! Judas expression of horror seemed to have done the trick just fine. You and several others chose that as your favorite! lol

I quite enjoyed drawing them myself <3 This whole New Orleans chapter has been such a testament of... pushing myself and trying new things. If it wasn't drawing elaborate backgrounds, it was drawing crowds of people, or a riverboat, or authentic looking food, or intense neon-- just a LOT of things I've never included in a comic before! So glad you are enjoying it <3

2022-03-24 05:28:02 +0000 UTCHappy One Year! 🥳 I'm so, so glad I started reading this comic, I adore it a lot 💕 I think my fave updates so far have to be when Judas showed Fletch around NOLA, especially when they were on the ferry boat and also when Judas grabbed one of the flags and gave one to Fletch... so cute~ Also !!! I also really loved the latest episode! The atmosphere, especially with the music to listen to... it was just gorgeous. It was so, so lovely.

That entire music scene has still got me in the feels… But I gotta say, I am still inappropriately amused by Judas’ absolute abject horror when he sees Fletcher missing a leg at the very beginning after the accident. I feel like that is going to be a moment they both devolve into cackling about later. XD And anyone listening in would be horrified and very sorry for eavesdropping. XD

Just that feeling of showing someone you like your home, fave places to visit etc. - idk, it kind of makes you vulnerable? like showing someone another facet of you. (or maybe its just me and my closedoffness 😂) but also, right off the bat, i fell in love with this comic. so fletch getting hit is a close 2nd.

I don’t know if I could pick a favorite update but I really loved the newest update, it was so beautiful. The lighting so great and got me in the mood to draw so thank you for that.
