You're Still Here
Added 2022-04-09 23:30:38 +0000 UTCI had the urge to draw some childhood sad for you guys today... Something we haven't seen yet in TLLT! As the story progresses, I am thinking of small ways that I can tell Kinley's story through the current events happening in the comic, and it's coming along well. He's going to be a complex emotional character that's for sure!
I was thinking of some details about their childhood as I drew this-- I think Kinley and Fletch's social roles would have reversed after Fletch had his leg amputated. I think prior to it, Fletch was probably more outgoing and popular in school, and Kinley was more picked on. I also think that Kinley was a late bloomer! So, for a while he would have been shorter/more baby-faced than Fletch (only to the hit a major growth spurt AND glow-up later on).
Does anyone remember that pink thing in the very first update of TLLT??? Some of you wondered if it was a beaver or a squirrel. LOL whatever it is-- We can assume Kinley gave it to Fletch at this time ^^^ Because I said so. And it's name is probably something stupid like François.
This was supposed to be a sketch and it ended up being a little more than that (Even though I did a really rough/half assed color job). You patreons are getting kinda spoiled this month! I'm finding time and energy for a lot of extras it seems. <3

Maybe it's not broken through to him yet. Kinley hasn't exactly been in a positive light so far. I will ask, will you also tell us how Fletcher lost his leg? I don't know if it was told. I hope he still has that plushie. Maybe he has and I'm just short memory
