All Kinley has done since he found out Fletch was coming after them on this trip, was be unpleasant. It's inevitable that his "friends" would start to have an opinion on the whole thing... even if that opinion isn't what you might have been expecting!
Needless to say, I'd love to know what you all are thinking. <3 As usual lol
Also noteworthy -- I feel like we've ALL been on a roadtrip or vacation at some point where you get up early in the morning, stop at *ahem* McDongles for breakfast, then get on the road. <3 (peep the McDongles sign if you didn't...)

2022-08-17 18:12:57 +0000 UTCHeyo - hope everyone is well! Sorry I’ve been silent lately.. I was traveling internationally to see family and attend my grandma’s 99th birthday. I got home and immediately got covid. Then my grandma died and I had to fly back. Got home, and now I’m in Arizona. So much flying - my arms are killing me 💀. This scene was a ton of fun to review. The characters are developing nicely. ALSO: make sure you zoom in and read what’s on the McDongles sign. It’s hard to see on the phone, but it’s one of those delicious Easter eggs. Fre shavocados for everyone!

As for Kinley, Dick and Priscilla... and Fletch and now Judas! Theyre gonna have to learn how to cohabitate. Theyre in it for the longhaul now!

2022-08-17 06:27:43 +0000 UTCI am very mc-taken aback by the "friends" opinions indeed. And while they are indeed laying it on mc-thick, I have to respect the straightforward call out. I've had my fair share of trips with folks who have one thing go wrong for them and then make it everyone else's problem. Also I'm excited to be seeing more of Kinley's inner conflict between Priscilla and Dick and Fletcher. I'm very curious to see what's next in store for the spikey head. Also also I can't be the only one seeing the parallel between Priscilla calling Judas hot and Jaxson openly flirting with Fletch and the boys responding all possessive respectively. Srsly it can't just be me right?

This update is meant to give us a little more than just the surface with Priscilla and Dick. :) They will have their small roles going forward. Maybe more than even I initially intended (that's always how it goes with these stories lol)

I mean, they’re young, so I can see it. Kinda shitty friends you got there, Kinley. This whole trip was going to be super awkward even if it had gone the way it was “supposed” to, if Kinley’s friends don’t like Fletch (or his mom or his puppy dog tendencies). And if Kinley was otherwise fine until Fletch revealed he’d followed them anyway, then why did he invite Fletcher in the first place? Favorite band or no, it seems like somehow stringing Fletch along… I know why Fletcher said yes. Road-trip, away from his mom, to see his favorite band? That might be worth putting up with a couple dingleberries, if Kinley isn’t a dick all the time. So, Kinley, what was your motivation for inviting him? What was your motivation for leaving him behind? Do you even know the answers? 🧐
