A Notice for Patreons
Added 2016-11-01 15:53:40 +0000 UTCSome of you may have read the rant on my Facebook page about people backing out of their pledges and abusing the system here on Patreon. Im not going to get into that again but I wanted to give you guys a little bit of a heads up as well. Come the new year things will dramatically be changing here on my Patreon. And I just want you all to know ahead of time so that there are no surprises. I'm going to be raising the post-card pledge amount from 10$ to 15$ and I may be getting rid of the 20$ commission pledge all together (or raising it to 30$ or something). 1$ for faster updates is going to turn into 2$, and the 3$ pledge will turn into 5$ and I will probably raise the 5$ to 7$
I would like your input as of now however, because I really don't want to be the artist that has to stick to something strict and formatted for you guys. I like to surprise you and give you as many things as I possibly can, and I feel like in the past year I've gone above and beyond to get you guys fast updates, and more extras than most (if not all) other webcomic artists that I know of.
Nothing is set in stone yet, and things may not be exactly what I'm thinking of right now or whatever, but I really would like some input on this. And I think I'm being pretty fair about the whole thing?

Can't you change it to pay up-front? I think other artists are able to change it to prevent this.

Personally I was really surprised when I found out that if I donate like say close to end of the month, I won't get charged at all; not until Nov 1st, but I was able to see the content. It probably has to do with billing cycle. Maybe create a rank for those who are confirmed 100% will pay and one without for new buyers and those who haven't paid up officially yet. Maybe that'll work out? idk I'm new to Pateron thing

2016-11-01 18:05:30 +0000 UTCPatreon really should change the system, this seems to happen to a lot of artists - also, people should stop exploiting the system :( I'm not sure, but I think if my pledge amount goes up I will have to drop down to a lower amount, as its already around $15 for me with conversation. But I'll work it out properly and let you know in advance it I do ^_^

2016-11-01 17:42:05 +0000 UTCHmm i love your stories and art but i dont have much money so I've limited myself to $3 per month on patreon, im supporting 2 right now (yourself included) at $1 each, so unless i come across another creator i like that charges $1 for quicker updates, i wont drop my support for you. Sorry people have been abusing the support system, its pretty messed up >.

I can't understand why patreon don't charge first and then let people see the contents, that would be better for creators. Anyway I will support you also next year, I think work always needs recognition, you spend your own time over that!
