End of mini arc check in
Added 2024-02-26 18:05:01 +0000 UTCHi, I forgot to put this up last week, but I just wanted to let you know that we finished with the upgrade and reward mini arc and have begun the training mini arc.
This is the only time in the next two+ books where Nick gets any downtime, and I wanted to take this chance to get to learn more about him, as well as what it would feel like to gain superhuman powers, including the ability to wield magic.
To keep things moving along, this arc has some of the longest chapters in the book. We had two 3000+ word days last week, and quite a few more are coming soon. I'm also trying something new and am putting a multi part side story in this arc, the first chapter of which dropped today. While Nick is safe for one of the only times in the entire series, Bandit is back on Earth, fighting for the future of his people.
