Nova technically COULD have been a guardian to two, yes... But he already had no clue what he was doing and had never intended to be a part of the Breeding program. Rationally he didn't have much of a choice but to refuse-- and Villia was hurt by the decision. But I doubt that he died without forgiving Commander Nova. They went through too much together not to have at least understood and accepted each other's decisions.

Why did he refuse, can't be guardian to two? And I'm sure Jove's death is going to break my heart... so much heartache ahead for everyone!!! *sob*
