Happy November, Patrons!

I hope you all enjoyed the daily Halloween reviews last month. I still need to go and reply to all the comments on them, but Patreon’s UI is slow which dissuades me. (bad UX.)

Anyway, I enjoyed it! Got a bit rushed towards the end there, but we pulled it off and I’m super proud. The one thing I wanted to really nail with that project was the consistency: missing a day mattered more to me than making a bad video (for better or worse) and proving to myself that I could do this was massive. One day I will do a Christmas Movie month or a Rom Com movie month, but for now we rest.

Which movies were your favourite to see discussed?

The ones I found easiest to talk about were Texas Chainsaw Massacre and It Follows - and so naturally these both will be getting full-length videos - but my favourite movies to watch and recommend were No One Gets Out Alive, It Follows, and Hellraiser 2022.

I’ll be back to streaming tomorrow, and I am going to try and get Silent Hill 2 working with my graphics card. I’ve never tried to stream through my PS3 before and it seems like a fat load of work, but the Platinum trophies sing to me.

Looks like we’re back to normal on Patreon! I’m going to crack on with the Saw Trap Ranking for all you folks here, plus I’ve started just taking notes after watching any movie/playing any game, so I might make my 5 minute reviews more of a mix of mediums, and much more reliant on what I’m actually focusing on. I’m sure a few of you are here because you’re more a fan of the movie reviews, so let’s diversify.
