Added 2022-10-18 09:24:13 +0000 UTCAnother mini comic for you all <3 This was one that I woke up thinking about (maybe I was dreaming about TLLT???) and I felt compelled to draw. Mostly because Susan and Judas haven't had any substantial interactions and I'd like to think that eventually, they'd get to this comfortable place with each other.
Also, the mention of phantom limb pain hasn't come up in the comic yet (I will find a place for it eventually) but I think Judas would really struggle with Fletch having those episodes. There's not a whole lot you can do about something that "doesn't exist" but totally does exist in your brain. Poor Fletch would just have to get through it, and poor Judas would have to sit back and watch as he does.
What's funny is that I drew more panels for this than I planned to, and I probably could draw about another 3-5 more... But I got regular update panels I gotta finish like a good creator. Booo...
Tomorrow night we're back with the next update though! Yay!

2022-10-18 15:05:02 +0000 UTCHonestly? I don't know how long those feelings of "forgetting" would last. Human beings develop habits pretty quickly and if your habit becomes "Make sure I don't forget I'm missing a leg and try to walk" then I think you'd learn fast. But who knows!

I've never seen another leg amputee character in a webcomic? :) So, I do feel a duty and obligation to show it in a light thats both realistic and in good taste. There's so much happening in TLLT right now (This chapter is PACKED) but I think once they move out of Texas there will be some room to explore Fletch's physical struggles.

That is something we need. Out of all depicted characters with physical disabilities (mainly wheelchair and amputations), apart from your comic, I have only seen Perfect World fully showing the reality of being a disabled person on a wheelchair.
