After Sonic and his friends left for adventure on the Starfall Islands, Team Dark took up the temporary mantle as the top reliable heroes. Lately, there's been an increase of reports regarding widespread damage to electronics, and explosions seen around the edges of the Luminous Forest. Soon after, Shadow was sent out to investigate the situation, thinking this was either a simple Eggman scheme, or perhaps a wild animal messing with abandoned Eggman tech. Little does Shadow know, this missions is going to be much more impactful than he expected...
