TLLT Cover Art (WIP)
Added 2022-11-22 14:45:33 +0000 UTCSo, I'm finally through the formatting phase of TLLT for the print copy!!!! Theres still a few other things I have to get ready for it, and I'm probably not going to launch a kickstarter until after the holidays, buuuuuut in the meantime, I get to work on a cover!
My idea with each of these volumes is that it will feature the characters in a (mostly) canon scene, with the TLLT logo as signage in the background. So for this one, it's an illustration of them sitting at the picnic table/rest stop together, with the highway sign behind them. This is during the 2nd chapter. (The episode on Webtoon/Tapas is labelled "Chapter 2 - 18")
For the future volumes I have plans to make the signage in the background look like retro hotel signs, or Route 66 signs or whatever. I think it will be fun and clever way to show the title!
Anyway, I'd love your feedback on this one, even though its just sketches so far. :)
Side note -- I am SO excited for tonight's update >:) stay tuned and buckle up y'all.

2022-11-23 01:54:21 +0000 UTCI'm honestly afraid to make covers that aren't an obvious part of the story (or at least, very adjacent to scenes in the story) because I don't want to mislead anyone who's reading it for the first time! Eventually I'd like to bring copies to my local bookstores/comic stores and sell at conventions, so... an accurate cover is important :)
