Blog Update! Please Read :)

Hello Hello Everyone! You know, I always try to wait for the beginning of the month to do these blog updates-- but somehow end up feeling the need to make them early. I guess when I'm in the mood to give you an update... It just makes sense to do it right then and there, rather than wait and forget all the things on my mind lol.

Anyway, couple things I want to go over today! Ranging from "you've heard this before" to "changes in update schedule". So please read if you have the time :) 

#1 - The image above is a WIP from the NSFW Kickstarter extra. It's a bonus "update" for those who backed the printing of the book earlier this year. And, while I'm chipping away at it little by little, it proves to be the hardest thing for me to shift gears and work on right now-- this isn't even because I don't WANT to work on it, it's because I don't have a solid chunk of time to get in the headspace for it. I know many of you patreons were kickstarter supporters-- so I just want to remind you again, I haven't forgotten about you! 

#2 (but sort of in the same breath as #1) - I am not sure exactly if/when I'm going to start doing this... because I want to hear some of your input on the subject... but I think I'd like to start going to updates every 10 days instead of once a week? This is something I've been wrestling with for a few months now, and even though I've been keeping up with the regular updates fairly well, I just. Cant. Get. Ahead. Part of this is because of that Kickstarter NSFW scene ^^^ but it's also because I gave up my buffer back in April when I had to get all the Kickstarter orders filled and sent out in the first place. I simply haven't been able to make back the wiggle-room. Not to mention, in general... my updates have only gotten longer over time. If you go back and look at the beginning of TLLT the updates were around 13-16 panels on average, and now they're closer to 25-30 panels on average. So... anyway. Long story short my personal life/days off are suffering. And I DON'T want to burn out because of it. (Been seeing a LOT of comic creators burning out lately! EEk!)

If I DO go to updating every 10 days, instead of once a week, I expect it will only last as long as I need it to. Meaning-- Once I finish the NSFW kickstarter comic, and once I get back a comfortable buffer for myself, I will gladly go back to once a week. I don't know how long it would take, but I think this is a better solution than me taking random weeks off (from updating) to try and get ahead only to NOT actually get ahead and keep being mad at myself about it lol. 

--also worth mentioning-- I know I produce a LOT of extra content here for you guys, and I COULD take time away from that to help me get caught up as well... But, I think we all agree, the extra content is fun/worth getting, right??? I know for me, it's like my "Creative outlet" away from my creative outlet, so it helps ME stay engaged and motivated too. 

Anyway, like I said, I haven't totally decided on this yet, and I'd like your input because you are my top priority!

#3 - This one is for my 10$ Pledges. I totally spaced sending out my NSFW post-cards this month (I'm sorry!) and I have to order more printer ink before I can get them done.... So, I think what I'll do, is send out a double next month instead (for June and July at the same time). And, if I can, I'll give you something extra to make up for the wait!!!

#4 - This is more of a long-term status update. I will be doing two small/local conventions in the next 4 months. They are both in Oregon, and my only intention with them is to sell off as much of my old convention stock as I can. (I'm not making any new fanart or anything). This shouldn't really effect update schedule-- HOWEVER, I'm also going to a wedding in late September (In Canada!) for a week, and that certainly will. Not super important to worry about right now, but worth mentioning.

#5 - Last but not least. Happy Pride month!!! and WOW what an amazing month it has been for me! My engagement has been amazing. I gained over SIXTY new patreons in the last month, and I couldn't be happier! If y'all are new here, welcome!
