The Plan
Added 2023-05-04 20:00:00 +0000 UTCSo, I already made a post this week, but a couple new patrons asked me recently, when am I going to do X or Y, so I thought I would take the time to write them down. Afterall, I love lists.
- Finish Writeathon - Done
- Finish New Tenebroum Cover - Done
- Finish Bonus chapters for Tenebroum Act 1 ending (5 or 6)
- Get Golemancer up to 5 chapters ahead for Patreon (1 of 5 presently)
- Start Life After Death After Death
- Get Life After Death After Death up to 5 chapters ahead for Patreon
- Tenebroum Maps
- New Cover for Letter of the Law
- Get all existing stories up to 10 chapters ahead for Patreon
- Create a new tier for $1-2 more for 20 chapters ahead for Tenebroum. This would benefit a theoretical "Tenebroum +" tier and the existing "Devoted Reader" tier.
- Take a nice long nap.
Realistically, Items 1 and 2 are done. Items 3-6 will take the month of May. Item's 7 and 8 will be worked on whenever I need a break from the previous goals, and with school and a short little vacation in there somewhere, it will probably be July or August before this list is done.
I've written 250k words so far in 2023, and I'll bet we end the year at 600kish. In 17 weeks, I will be done writing Letter of the Law, and in 22 I will be done writing Golemancer (book 1). After that? Maybe Tenebroum will go to twice a week.
I also plan on pursuing the audiobook angle more, both because I think it would be fun, and because I know these days some people really only "read" that way. I'm still looking at options though. I checked out Eleven labs this week, and they were pretty slick. I'll post the result sometime.
