Well, I'm filling a moleskin planner right now, one page a day. I got the idea, because I came across this YT video and immediatly new I had to do this! And I ordered a planner and started right on the day it arrived, the 27th of April.
And it's really low-pressure. Some drawing get really good, some of them don't. Some days I don't really feel like trying, others are really enjoyable. It's a good space for me to get out what is occupying my mind right now, without actually committing to a whole drawing.
I find it interesting to see so far that I've always have a short focus on something for 5 days or so and then switch topics.
(Oh and the pages above are a selection, I filled all pages that month, but most of it wasn't as interesting.)
So here we have: Panther (because duh), big strong men, the planes of the face (using the asaro head here and an explanation by TFiddler here), and the New Lion, with a few rando cats in between.
The lion is a sneak peek for what's to come, because I have a new character in the works :^) The first sketch here is a straight up copy of VetroWolfs drawing here, because I fell in love with that lion! And I've developed that infatuation in a character (that you'll meet soon). And yes, I talked with Vetro about it, he's cool with it and I couldn't be happier :^D
