How to sound extremely shady in one easy step

This was actually the first scene I drew for the comic. It has been completely revamped at least thrice, and all that remains of its first version is the first four panels of this batch and the last panel on page 32. And even those have been redrawn a couple times...

TL note:

The "You're going somewhere? With HIM?" phrase was "Ты что, собрался куда-то? Вот с этим?" in Russian, which can be interpreted as both "You're going somewhere? With that guy?" and "You're going somewhere? With THAT?" So it technically sounds a lot more rude lol

At the same time, "that guy" felt a bit too casual for the tone I intended, so I went for the more neutral "him". I think calling a teacher that is rude enough when he's standing right in front of you. I dunno, maybe I'll change it in the full release.

This is a PAFL prequel comic based on a short story I wrote some time ago. It's my first time doing a comic that's this long and based on something with dialogues this wordy, so the art is pretty rough at the start and the pacing is very slow. Though, maybe some of you are into that.

The comic updates with 2-4 pages every Sunday. The full release will be free to read, this is just early access for anyone interested🌞
