Important content update

Hey everyone!

You've probably noticed that I haven't done Fan Content Roundups in a long while: there are several reasons for that.

• While they might not have seemed like that much work, they were some of the most time-consuming content pieces I've made. And considering I was extremely busy in the past months, I basically had no time to sit down and compile them.

• They were the least popular type of content on the Patreon, so if I had to drop something from the to-do list, it would be them.

But there were some other factors that got me thinking about replacing them with something else:

• I already try to give detailed comments to all the fanworks I reblog on Twitter and Tumblr, so doing basically the same thing behind a paywall felt superfluous.

• I always felt iffy about using fan content for Patreon posts.

• I felt even worse when I had to essentially pick and choose favourites to highlight among a huge selection of great fan works. I appreciate the effort that goes into every fanart, and this just didn't feel fair.

So here's what I'm thinking. I'm gonna remove Fan Content Roundup as a reward and instead add 2 new perks: timelapses of monthly illustrations and bi-weekly sketch compilations. The first one is obvious enough and will be available to tiers 2 and 3.

The second is also self-explanatory, but I want to clarify why I'm suggesting it. I tend to do a lot of warmup / distraction sketches when drawing, but I usually end up deleting them regardless of quality. I think it would be fun to actually gather them into little sketch pages, similar to the one you see at the top or the KT compilation below.

The sketch pages will be available to ALL paid tiers.

I think this might be a good strategy, since it stems from the content I already produce and thus won't require a lot of extra time.
