Progress update 21.06.2024

More of a status update than a progress one: my tablet has been acting real funky for the past 2-ish months, and its only been getting worse in the past couple weeks. By funky I mean not registering half of my lines, which means they get interrupted in the middle like this:
This has made drawing very annoying, especially since I have a pretty hatching-heavy style. I've already tried a bunch of different troubleshooting strats (getting a replacement tablet plate, changing multiple pen nibs, reinstalling drivers, tinkering with pen pressure settings, changing to a different program, flipping the tablet around to avoid blind zones, etc), but so far no cigar.
Basically, if you're wondering why my output might be slower, it's because I need to redraw half of my lines many times over lmao. Hope the issue is the tablet not the laptop at least - the first one's easier to replace.
Will electronics ever be nice to me, I wonder...

2024-06-21 20:28:29 +0000 UTCthe one im using is 500-600 usd. i can save up technically, i'd just prefer finding a way to fix the issue without having to resort to that either way i can still draw, it just ends up being slower than it needs to be
