Important comic poll

Hey! This is a poll for all the tiers that can access the comics.
So as much as I enjoy drawing the weekly pages, over the months it's become apparent that I won't be able to work on the new song/video at all until Rough is finished. It simply takes too much time to achieve a satisfying level of quality on a weekly basis.
The alternative to that is putting the comic on hiatus after the ongoing scene finishes - which will take over a month, but hey, still earlier than finishing the whole story. I'll return to drawing the comic once video production is over, but I can't say for sure how long that will take.
I usually prefer focusing on one project at once, so optimally I'd like to finish the comic first and then fully switch gears to making the next PAFL vid. But at the end of the day, the comic is a side project and looking at its current script, it will take a while to conclude. So I'm good with either option.
Which would you prefer?

2024-08-08 17:11:11 +0000 UTCi was initially going to say "finish the comic first" but i changed my mind. i voted for hiatus, but my true vote is this: do whatever you feel will be the best for your mental health and motivation! don't feel like you have to force yourself to finish the comic first if you don't want to, yknow? do whatever feels right!

But if you're relatively close to finishing it, I'd say to get that weight off your shoulders once and for all. Idk if that's the case for you, but when I work on a project for a long time and then pause, it's hard to get back on track at the same pace. Like, I have to re-train my brain to remember the specific way I've been doing things all this time... Not fun
