Q&A: Arthur Sokolov

He's here and he's ready to scowl - the drummer of Anger Management is finally in our interrogation room. So let's subject him to your most pressing questions.

Floofushush asks: What do you think of your friends, especially like Ivan and Yana since we don’t see from them much? And with their relationship in mind, what do you think of dating?

Arthur: Vanya’s a great guy. He's done bad shit, but like, who hasn't. I don't know where I'd be now if it weren't for him. Though, I kinda wish he were more, uh… responsible.

And Yana's cool. Kinda has a huge stick up her ass, but maybe that’s for the best, knowing our group.

[Yana: STOP BEING MEAN TO HER]

[Sanya: yana it's ok it's ok] 

I'm not sure what you want me to say about their relationship, it's none of my fuckin’ business. They're happy, good for them. And I don't really care about getting a girlfriend. The whole dating thing seems annoying as hell. 

Vaflur asks: What are your thoughts on Anger Management in general right now? How seriously do you take the band? Do you have any specific plans for the future?

Arthur: It's not like I plan on being a musician, that's more Tsar's thing. He's got talent and all. 

But it's good to see him happy. He's been much better since we started playing.

I wanna go into software engineering, so dunno if I'll stick around. Drumming feels pretty awesome, though… So yeah, would be cool. 

Brew asks: Have you ever seen any mutants? If so, whats the craziest one you’ve seen?

Arthur: I dunno about crazy, but yeah. We had this one guy in the orphanage who had flint growing on his body. They had to break it off from time to time. I think he spent like a week at the Institute, but they decided he wasn't interesting enough or something like that. So they sent him back to our shithole. Sucks, but what can ya do.

Xil Xil Xil asks: In your brief acquaintance with Katya, did she ever get anything right when she psychoanalyzed you?

[KT: Ya know, at first I thought you were always angry. But that's not it, I think. It's more like… Yer always afraid of something.]

[Arthur: the hell did you just say]

[KT: WAHAA YANAA HE'S BEING MEAN TO ME] 

Arthur: That thing? She kept spouting nonsense she just pulled out of her ass! Christ, that was obnoxious. She stuck to me for like 3 days.

…“Afraid”. Who does she think she is? 

Olin’s Olive Oil asks: What happened at that one house party? You know the one. With the whole gang. And Yura. What happened between you and Yura, huh? What happened? Huh?? Arthur, what happened there? WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN YOU TWO, ARTHUR??

Arthur: [spit take]

How did- Who told you?! Was it Yana? Sanya?! Had to be her… Ugh, she's such a pain!

And NOTHING happened, alright? That dickhead just got too comfortable, ‘cuz we both got smashed! 

…Yeah, that's it. End of story.

Nana asks: Have you noticed Yura and Sanya acting weird lately? What do you think that's all about? Are you worried about them?

Arthur: They've been down since that kid went back home. I guess they were pretty close, but like… Come on, how long have you two known her? 

Yura especially. Don't think he's ever been this distant. Skipped hangouts, skipped school… Well, that last part's normal. He seemed sorta okay when we came to dick around during his disciplinary work thing, but what's even up with that? Got drunk? Fought? With whom? Where? 

I don't get it. And it's like Sanya is always on edge. All over some brat? Gimme a break. 

…But I don't really care, it's their freaking problem. I'm not gonna poke my nose into other people's shit. It'll blow over. Everything does.
