Hi everyone, litte status update on Yae.
TL;DR: I'm making good progress on Yae and plan to release her next weekend.
I've finished most of her textures and modeling, as well as weighting her for the game. This took a lot of time, but she is by far the most complex model I've made so far, so it's not really surprising. I'm also currently drawing a Cyberpunk-style texture for her (body and eyes) to give her a bit of a robot/cyborg look, and I think it's turning out quite nice.
Nearly every part you see is individually toggleable, so you'll be able to customize her to your liking. I also plan to release her in three different body styles with a pregnancy option. Transparency for her bodysuit and helmet will be possible, and the parts on her armor actually glow in the game too, which I hope adds a nice touch. I experimented with different hairstyles, primarily combining them with her original hairstyle, but with mediocre success. It would delay her release further, and I don't think it's worth it, but let me know what you think.
I also had to write a few scripts to help with my workflow. TexFx with individual toggles requires some edits in her .ini file for every part that needs transparency ... or has a glow effect >_<. So, since I didn't want to write around 150 lines every time I wanted to test a new version, I had to automate the process.
I'm not sure if these more customized mods are what everyone likes, but I'm having lots of fun making them. Creating some nude toggles or big chest versions feels a bit boring to make.
