I really love that Mio is shown to have feelings for her subordinate, and I like that our hero is forced to reckon with the fact that Mio is a more rounded person than the one he created, with more feelings and empathy than he anticipated. I think that may change his attitude towards her a little bit in a way. I will say, at this point, the series is becoming more serious, and I enjoy the tone shift.
