WIPs and Upcoming Render Ideas

Hey all; hope you've been doing well since my last post :)

Since I published A Survivor Is Born a week~ ago, I've been having to use my free time to catch up on some personal obligations. Thankfully, things are starting to stabilize a bit, so I'm diving back into Blender this week (in my spare time, that is), and I wanted to share some WIPs and ideas!

First up, we have some car WIPs. In order, left to right, we have a McLaren 720S, a Lamborghini Huracan Performante, a Lamborghini Aventador, and a '69 Dodge Charger RT. Are you a fan of modern exotic supercars, or do you prefer classic American muscle?

Additionally, I've made some refinements to the Lamborghini Huracan EVO since it made its debut in CR0FT 4. In particular, I've improved the tire material and tweaked the glass a bit. The original render with Lara Croft did quite well, and I'd definitely enjoy revisiting the concept with a new pose and environment.

Speaking of environments, the next WIP in order is a scenebuild I'm currently working on. If you're also in the Discord, you may have seen me post this a few weeks back in General Chat. I'm pretty happy with the layout, but the materials still need work. Once this scenebuild is finished, my current plan is to make a render (or possibly more than one) with it using Claire Redfield. It's been a long time since I made any content with her, and I'm genuinely excited to revisit her model and make some content with her again.

Another RE lady I want to make content with is RE 5 Jill (pictured). Before I make any renders with her, though, I want to review the model for improvements. So far I've made some subtle refinements to the skin through adjusting the subsurface scattering. The default skin SSS is the first picture (left) and my custom skin SSS is the second picture (right). To fully appreciate the difference, I recommend viewing the pictures in fullscreen. It's not a huge difference, but I feel the model's default skin is a bit harsh and video game-y looking, while my tweaked version of the skin has a more realistic, softer, and fleshier look. Once I'm happy with the model's look, I already have a render idea in mind to start on :)

And, lastly, on the topic of render ideas, I'm also toying around with the idea of making a render inspire by Cammy's victory pose in the recently-released Street Fighter 6. I'm thinking of maybe using either MK9 Mileena (because she's also a fighting game character) or maybe RE5 Jill (because her outfit is also blue and she has blonde hair). This is just an idea, though, and my plate is already plenty full (as you can see!), so I can't say for certain if it will come to fruition.
