Hey all :)

Sorry this month wasn't active like I had hoped/intended. Well, actually, I have been quite active this month, putting a lot of hours of free time into Blender. Unfortunately, I just haven't had anything to show for it. I've been struggling pretty hard with art block lately, and I kept drafting and then scrapping project after project because I wasn't happy with my work. It was honestly quite demoralizing and demotivating; I thought about making a post to explain the lack of art/updates, but decided to just keep pushing through until I had something to share. And that brings us to today's render!

I went for an Ada pinup, set in an RE4R environment this time, and with (some of) her RE4R clothes. Despite its simple appearance, this render took a lot of work to bring to life, with Ada's pulled-up sweater, holster harness, and hair all requiring sculpt work, not to mention lots of nuanced post-processing to get the look and lighting just right. But I'm very happy with the result, and I hope you enjoy it, too!

As for variants, similar to my recent render releases, you have the first version pictured here, "soft," and then the second version, which features stylized color grading. In the MEGA archive you'll also find a third version, "sharp," which is a slightly sharper version of "soft" that omits some of the subtle post-processing effects.

In closing, sorry again for the lack of content lately. But, I always want to try and publish at least one render per month for you all, regardless of how busy life gets with work and personal obligations. Obviously, if something extreme comes up like a major illness, then I will let you all know and keep you updated. But I hope you all enjoy this Ada Wong pinup!
