Hey all :)
Hope you've been doing well so far this month! Unfortunately things have been pretty busy and miserable here. Pretty much every day so far this month has been 90F/32C or above, and the constant extreme heat has been causing issues such as brown outs and severe thunderstorms. Between the weather and just being busy in general, I haven't had many opportunities for Blender, but I've got a little something for you today!
So, those of you with a keen eye and who have been following me for awhile may recognize this scene/setup as Field Prep, an ultrawide wallpaper render I made awhile ago. I always wanted to return to this scene and see what else it had to offer, and it's been awhile since I made anything with Claire, so this was a great opportunity â it allowed me to make something quickly to accommodate my schedule and work around the weather issues, yet it was something I enjoyed working on very much despite being a return to a previous work (which making variants can be pretty tedious and dull and boring sometimes).
While you could technically call this a render variant of Field Prep, it feels very much to me like a brand-new render, due to the change in composition. I also adjusted the lighting and tweaked some of my sculpt work and scenebuild to better complement the new camera angle! And, of course, this render also features custom post-processing done from scratch, due to the change in camera angle and lighting. The final result is something I'm extremely pleased with, and I hope you enjoy it, too!
As for the render itself, you have the usual offerings here of three post-processing variants, with the two embedded images being the "soft" and "stylized color grading" versions, respectively, and the "sharp" version in the MEGA archive. And, as usual, these embedded images are the downscaled half-rez versions, and you can grab the native full-rez versions from the MEGA archive!
Due to my schedule and the weather, I can't say what the rest of the month holds, but I will definitely make an effort to spend more time in Blender as my schedule and the weather permits!
Thank you all for your support and hope you enjoy the render! <3
