Quick Particle Hair Test & Update

Just wanted to share a WIP with you real quick — my first-ever custom particle hair. This was the result of my first attempt at particle hair on the very first tutorial I tried, so I know it's not the greatest. But while it's definitely not perfect, I think it has promise! There's definitely a learning curve to both making and combing particle hair, but I enjoyed the process. I also think it's definitely something I'm capable of improving upon. I feel like I have the potential to make particle hair that's at least decent if I invest the time and effort. And it's so much nicer looking than mesh hair! I'm excited to keep pursuing this particular skill set and see how it goes.
As for the update, I've still been struggling lately with the mental health side of things and suffering from a bit of art block and lack of ideas/inspiration. Hence the time being spent on tutorials. I have, however, been working on a Jill Valentine model swap of Reflection, similar to what I did for Downtime. Right now my plan is to play with some more particle hair tutorials as time allows over the next few days and try out some different workflows/approaches. Then I'm planning to render out the Jill Valentine model swap of Reflection, ideally with some nice particle hair. But, if need be, I can always use her mesh hair if I can't get the particle hair to look good enough. Either way, I'll probably be rendering and then publishing at some point during this upcoming weekend depending on how things go.
