Ada Wong Selfie Release

Hey all :) Hope you've been doing well!

Apologies for another quiet month. Unfortunately the start of the year has still been a bit of slog, struggling with a mixture of personal and health issues eating up my free time outside of work. But enough about that, let's move on to today's render release!

I really liked how the previous render came out and wanted to do something with a similar vibe/flavor with Ada, but after the past several model swap variants, I was burnt out on doing those. In other words, while I wanted to make something similar, I also wanted whatever I made to be new in terms of posing, lighting, camera angle, etc. Which is exactly what I did, and I'm very happy with the result! I hope you enjoy it as well :)

In terms of variants, similar to my other recent RE4R Ada pieces, you have with and without tattoos. There's also a variety of post-processing styles available for both variants — the published version seen here is a "hybrid" style combining elements of the various go-to post-processing styles I typically use ("soft," "sharp," and "stylized color grading"). Additionally, in the MEGA archive, you'll also find each of the aforementioned constituent styles in the render folder.

As for what's next on the horizon, I'll be refreshing the watermark-free MEGA archive link at the start of next month (Saturday, March 1st), as usual. Hopefully life will cooperate a bit moving forward, as I would truly like to be more active and provide more content for you all.

I've also updated the previous render's folder, Resident Evil -> Claire Redfield -> Desire Selfie, with some alternate color grades. The initial published render had about 20% "stylized color grading" mixed in; I've added two alternate versions with the mixture set to 0% ("No SCG") and 100% ("SCG"). I made these out of curiosity, just to see how they would look, but decided to go ahead and add them to the MEGA archive.

EDIT:
I've added an additional post-processing variant to the Ada Selfie folder, "Hybrid Full SCG" (both with and without tattoos). It combines the hybrid-style look (Ada in focus, background elements slightly blurry with chromatic aberration fringing on the dust specks, etc.) with full-strength SCG-style color grading (instead of mixing in a small amount).
