The story behind this:
Illana wants to participate on some earth customs and meet other girls of her age, so she decides to throw a sleepover party.
The problem is that a giant shapeshifting monster was sent after them! In the resulting battle, most of the monster was slain, but only after infecting Lance with some kind of shapeshifting virus that gives the boy temporary (and limited) control over his form. This convinces Lance that the monster might still be out there, but both Illana and Octus dismiss it as the chances were so small.
On the next days Lance remained against having an sleepover while a shapeshifter could be out there, and clashed with the princess many times, until they reached sort of an agreement:
"Okay, if you want to have a sleepover, you can, but I will be there to protect you" - he says while using his virus to give him a feminine form.
Illana remains bothered by Lance invading her privacy...but she agrees with a smirk... perhaps she could use it to teach him one thing or two about girls...
