From the average midwest highway town, Amara stood out very early on among her peers. She was always a gifted learner, finding school very tolerable and easy. In highschool, she scored first in a nation-wide exceptional education entry exam and earned herself a free ride to any college of her choosing.
You would never believe this meeting her for the first time.
She can be crass, insensitive, and intensively carefree. Amara often misses classes, and sometimes even tests. Doing the bare minimum to retain an A in each class.
You may find her sleeping in the grass on a blanket, sleeping in her room during class time, or even napping on a hammock in the courtyard.
Juno, her best friend, finds her airy attitude comforting to her anxious tendencies. They will sometimes on occasion, study together. However, it is more likely the case that either one would be asleep and the other is awake at any given time. Early bird vs night owl... or - early lion and night wolf? Sure.
