After triumphantly creating my curve-controlled turds I couldn't wait to give them a whirl and see how they animate. Spoiler: It's actually worse than my bone based solution. Thankfully, it's possible to switch between the two systems as I work, plus, I got my old simulators going too, so hopefully the next animation won't look this janky when animating turds hitting terrain!
