Missing chapter on the 27e
Added 2020-12-04 19:15:16 +0000 UTCJust a quick heads-up for my backers. Due to writing 80k+ words for NaNoWriMo I completely forgot the previous BB2 chapter. There will be another chapter tomorrow to make up for it, and if I get the time, a third on Sunday.
A quick question to everyone:
Half a year ago I wrote another LitRPG story that I have yet to post on RoyalRoad or elsewhere. Because I don't have the time to edit it, I was wondering if you would be interested in reading it here? It would be completely unedited - so a draft 0 if you will.
The scenario is a middle-aged father who finds himself alone on earth after all of humanity gets taken away moments before a major cataclysm. He wakes from what he initially thinks is a short sleep to find the whole world changed. New beings have taken over, and he slowly finds out that he hasn't slept for a few hours but for thousands of years.
The quirk of the story is that the man is majorly depressed, but his ability allows him to take over the form of other beings. While doing so, his mentality changes along with it, removing his depressions and anxiety. When he turns back to 'normal', however, the depressions return with a vengeance. Don't expect a massively OP main character, although he will become more powerful compared to most beings around him as the story progresses the difference wont be excessive.
The story consists of roughly 180k words, and as a comparison, nothing but bones 1 was only 130k words on Royal Road.
