Wow you guys are already at the action scenes you guys are flying through this arc. Also there is an another one piece movie coming after this arc/beginning of next arc. I wonder if you guys will watch the filler episodes with it or just jump straight into the movie. It’s totally up to you guys!!

Man, I love it when Luffy learns from people more experienced than him and I adore Jimbei for being such a great strategist! If there's anyone that can get Luffy to stop and think, that's him!

2024-12-23 20:08:13 +0000 UTCI love how the entire start of the arc you deny the prophecy of Luffy destroying the island saying he would never do that. Then in these episodes the context changes and everyone cheers for the island to be destroyed. Something I wanted to say since the Luffy vs Jimbea fight is victory alone isn't good enough. Luffy could go and fight Hordy probably win easily but fishman island would lose far more than what is protected. Victory is easy, but wining correctly in a way that doesn't dishonor yourself or sacrifice the effort/ relationship/ morals of others is very difficult. Normally Luffy doesn't to worry about wining correctly. Luffy can win and afford to be the bad guy it is one of the perks of being a pirate. Luffy can ignore the consequences steamrolling to victory. However, Luffy is a human before he is a pirate in the eyes of the fishman. Luffy cannot fix a problem and become the right type of villain in doing so. Elsewhere Luffy's actions effect his reputation only however on fishman island Luffy is a representation of all humans. Luffy is no longer 'free' as a named 'pirate' instead he is confined as a named 'human'. I really like this arc and hope you just enjoy it.
