I am not familiar with entire Star War story. But I would love to know more about it if there is any connection with this it is interesting.

Execute order 66 ANYONE? I only just made this connection in my head bruh how did I never think of that. I always thought Oda was inspired by Star Wars but we literally have it here, Germa 66 with their clone soldiers.

I wonder how Cracker discovered how his devil fruit worked. You think...after he ate the fruit...nothing happened for years....until he went to a rock concert...and just started clapping and there's biscuits everywhere. Edit: So I don't annoy you guys with so many replies....you are correct...Kid Sanji is chopper's voice

Hey TheShittyCook...just to let you know third son is san-nan 三男...at least according to my kanji dictionary. Here's the confusing part...since san-nan means third son...it is safe to assume that 1st and 2nd son are ichinan and ninan but it is chounan and jinan. Kanji for 2nd son is 次男 the first kanji means next in sequence . 長男 is for 1st son and the kanji means superior/leader/senior. I am probably wrong and Oda used the 三児 because it sounds like sanji . *shrug*

I just realized you guys are at the 800 episode range. Congrats :)

By the way, a little Japanese learning: Zeff always yells at Sanji calling him ‘Chibi nasu’. It’s often translated in the subtitles as ‘little brat,’ but the exact translation is actually ‘little eggplant.’ LOL Also, 三時 (san-ji) means ‘3 o’clock,’ while 三児 (san-ji) means ‘third son.’ Both share the same Japanese pronunciation as Sanji. Ichi - 1 Ni - 2 San - 3 Yon - 4 (sometimes use shi as 4) By the way, 零 (rei / れい) is the most formal and standard way to say ‘0,’ often used in math or official contexts. Meanwhile, ゼロ (zero)—pronounced like "jello"—is borrowed from English and is far more common in daily life.

When Sanji’s first backstory is re-shown and re-contextualized, it gives so much more weight to the moment he sheds grateful tears as he bids Zeff goodbye. We already know he feels indebted to Zeff—the sacrifice of his leg and dream, the lessons in cooking and fighting—but now it becomes clearer than ever that Sanji sees him as the source of everything he truly longed for. Not just survival, but also the chance to cook, and the fatherly love he had been denied all his life. I always think back to that moment on the cliff when little Sanji said to Zeff, “I can’t think of any reason for you to be kind to me!” Why would a child even imagine there has to be a reason for kindness? Because he had been raised on cruelty, taught by his own father that “I have no obligation to help you. You are not worth raising. You are a disgrace to the family.” That kind of rejection scars a child to the core—no wonder little Sanji couldn’t believe in unconditional love. It also reminds me of the first time he met Kin’emon’s head. Kin’emon cried out, “I came to this island to rescue my son! I don’t mind cutting down thousands if they get in my way!” The panel then lingered unusually long on Sanji’s unreadable face. I bet that he was moved by Kin’emon’s fierce fatherly devotion, silently comparing it to Judge’s cold cruelty. In that moment, he must have felt the contrast so deeply and ached for the same love from his own father -- and I like to think it only strengthened his resolve to help Kin’emon, even beyond the usual compassion the Straw Hats show to those in need.

When watching arc like this it reminds me why re watching one piece is actually worth it even though there's more than a 1000 episodes. Not recommending just saying
