2023-12-08 01:53:04 +0000 UTCNo one really likes the Zoro and Luffy fight, lol. It really is senseless, and thankfully we don't get more moments like that outside of filler. But it does show how strong they are compared to even fairly high ranked Baroque Works agents. That one shot of them just beating Mr 5 and Miss Valentine down with one hit is pretty great! I just wish Oda had chosen a different way to get there. I think that the point of Luffy breaking the eternal pose that Miss All Sunday gave them is that it stops her from manipulating them, and spares Vivi from a lot of mental anguish. Sure, going via Nanimonai island might have been easier, but would it have been *better*? I don't think so!

2023-12-07 23:52:13 +0000 UTCThe point of the fight besides the comedy of the mistake which quickly escalates, it shows you that there both extremely strong, zoro basically just as much as Luffy but also that the other guys were nothing to them. Plus how the both meat heads who love a good fight and get distracted. Also Luffy being this stupid just makes the gradual growth of his character all that much better.

I think itโs totally okay to pause if you have something to say or even to go back if you feel you miss something because you are reacting and watching at the same time And itโs two of you! There are times maybe you want to talk a little bit to each other. I prefer to watch your natural reaction, then you can go back to the story so you donโt miss anything. Of course too many pauses can be annoying to watch, but when there is a big surprise/reveal (which happen often in OP) I think we want to see your reaction! There are reactors who do the rewinding while discussing after they finish the episode. Thatโd be a good option too. Love from Japan xx

2023-12-05 11:50:39 +0000 UTCYou guys are doing just fine, a lot of things that take a hard turn story wise caught me off guard as well and threw me for a loop, but it will all make sense later. Oda does a good job of tying off loose ends to each story arc, so view this as the start of a new arc. Also, I wouldn't worry too much about "how to react" (based on other comments) just figure out what works for you guys. That's what makes it unique and fun to watch along, otherwise everyone is just using a copy paste format and it can get kind of boring. Commentary and predictions are great, keep having fun on this journey to find the ONE PIECE! ๐
