There is death and destruction quite a bit and it can be very heartbeaking. There is suffering in this world just like if it was hundreds and a thousand years ago in our world. Suffering and the will to overcoming it in freedom is a great theme in the OP world as well as ours. OP is a emotional rollacoaster so people and creatures do die in this anime.

I'm trying to read some comments just to see what the other nakamas said or advise you, and I have to say, it's a pretty good community right here. So I feel good to share some thoughts with you. Personally, since Vivi ( or Bibi call her as you like) is shown, I considered all the mini-arc parts of the Alabasta- arc. The only one that I personally separated is Drums and I will explain why when we get there. I know that OP has a huge fan base ( I personally read since 1999, when I was 8); OP and Dragon Ball are my childhood manga, and since then I read so many things manga-related; but from my perspective don't feel "guilty" to criticize anything. Sometimes fans forget that Oda is a genius man, but still a man, and if you deal with something for 30 years you can be sure that you can lose something or make some mistakes. Honestly, even though, OP is huge in my preference, and I like to read and see most mainstream opera and not ( I don't know if you already read the expression " big three" that is referred to One Piece, Naruto and Bleach (with this 3 I'm also adding a forth one that is Hunter x Hunter 2011 version. My best personal Anime). If I have to say 3 manga that I'll consider the new big three in recent years I'll say Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia). But for an adult couple, I'll probably advise for first animes/ mangas to watch/ read: Death notes, Aot, cowboy bepop, 1 of the old big three and one of the new big three (the OST's of cowboy bepop and Aot are insane. Yōko Kanno and Hiroyuki Sawano are two living legends). I think that is a good start even for understanding how anime changed this year ( in One piece you will see some improvement saga after saga) I'm gonna stop because if all the community gonna do his list that will be probably annoying, in fact so sorry for the lengths of this comment.

2023-12-09 01:24:49 +0000 UTCI dont think most of people would think Little Garden is their fav arc. Least fav? Maybe. I like the gaint duel and dinosaur theme but not a big fan of this arc's story. This arc is still enjoyable since there is no bad story in OP, but still kind of mid to me. I am really looking forward to your reaction to next arc, which is truly one of my fav. My liking towards next arc is almost similar to Arlong park arc.

2023-12-08 21:07:26 +0000 UTCThis is one of the weaker arcs, but the world building is really cool. The home island of the giants (Elbaf), is probably the next arc in the manga: maybe chapter 1120+ and it was first mentioned in this early episodes. You see the foreshadowing from Oda is insane.

As for the agents they are put into male female pairs. The male having number representing their strength in the group. While the females code name is a day of the week or a holiday.

2023-12-07 01:39:13 +0000 UTCMostly yeah I think people are mentioning the next arc. But LG introduces severely long term big stuff. That often happens in the small, less action focused arcs. Lore Piece after all is a widely used term for big foreshadowing or reveals or twists/recontextualization. The setup and lore focused arcs are often the best. It's Odas greatest strength besides characters and tying them all together. Oda is setting up even more of his Pirate Dungeons and Dragons world.
