The plan is episode 1 and then the movie, then the Entertainment District Arc. This seems to be the most popular watch order.

2025-03-16 03:21:38 +0000 UTCidk if anyone has pointed out the general watch profile for season 2/ the Mugen/Infinity Train movie. So I think generally people prefer people watch the Season 2 Episode 1 episode, "Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku" before the movie as it is an original episode not in the film, then the movie Demon Slayer: Mugen (Infinity) Train. I have seen people do it in opposite order as well, but either way works tbh. I think generally people do not prefer the episode breakdown that is season 2 for the Mugen/Infinity Train movie. After watching the Season 2 Ep 1 and the movie, move on to Season 3 Ep 1, which should begin the Entertainment District arc.
