Toph is being tough, I know it's easy, but it's real, she took age but not diplomatic lessons. But maybe that's what Korra needs right now : after years with people just being worried about her, she has someone who doesn't care and Toph is telling her to stop complaining. The metal reveal is great, but even more the fact that Korra wants to keep it in a way, that it's a good excuse to not be the Avatar. To not be hurt again, but maybe also because she thinks she failed people.
I know Prince Wu is supposed to be fun, but seeing him acting so stupidly really made me depressed because he was the only option against Kuvira. But I truly appreciated that moment of truth with Mako and I see maybe a potential change for him ? I would love that, and Mako can be a good teacher of what real life is.
