Hello !
That's the end of this wonderful journey with Death Note. I was not melancholic here, just really excited : I took this anime as a game, and I finally finished it. Don't get me wrong, I cried during this episode, but clearly not for Light : ok, him thinking about the simple student he was before all of that was interesting, but if the death note made him a killer, already before that he was a bad person, considering some people inferior to others.
No, my tears were for Matsuda. Because, after supporting him during all of the binge watching, I was disappointed by him during the last ones, and here, for him to be the one… He made me proud. Because he is influenceable and believed into some Kirra's principles (that's why at the end he wanted to kill Light, for good, it's Kirra's part of him), because he's the youngest one, the one that none of them believed into, but also because he was the first to follow the Chief, and here, his first thought was for Mr Yagami. Matsu, I'm proud of you.
