I could tell you that I had to use two tissues, that I had to make two breaks during the episode, that I didn't count how many times I screamed "No, no, no, no" or I said "I love you"/"I hate you" to the writers, that I lost more than two liters of water crying, that I had to take a nap of one hour after filming… I could tell you all of that to explain all of the emotions I felt during the episode, but it wouldn't show the nostalgy I already felt during the intro or the total mess I was during the review talking about the episode, the characters, the show, what it represented for me, how sad I was to say goodbye to it, to them, to you. And yes, I cried a lot during the editing.
To finish I want to say that I fell in love with this show, this story, this universe and these characters, but also with this community. I never forgot how nice and welcoming you were with me when I began the show, and then how supportive and loving you were for the last seasons. I thanked you a lot for that at the end, but it doesn't represent even half of the gratitude I have. Yup, I might be crying again writing that. I know that some are gonna stay for other shows, but also that others will leave. I hope we'll soon be reunited to be back in this universe, and if not, I wish you the best, and I thank you for the journey. Good hunting, guys.

Yes, the episode was insane. For the names, I saw Ty tweet saying it was a cool Easter egg made by the graphic team. I would be ok with anything into this universe 😊

2022-01-18 09:47:43 +0000 UTCMan this episode was great. What a ride. I still can't get over the sci-fi references they did for the assault team. When Holden and Naomi were checking on the assault troops, they show a screen with all of the troopers' names and there were a few referencing Aliens and Starship Troopers. What a move. I really hope we get to see more of this universe. I'm not too interested in the Laconia storyline, but I would like to see if the Belters finally get the equality they wanted and fought for. I wouldn't mind if they made a show just about Drummer. <3

2022-01-18 05:34:22 +0000 UTCHello ! Yes, that final episode was so emotional, for what happened into it but also the fact we were saying goodbye to it, I think we all felt so sad and melancholic... It's clearly amazing how the casting created such an healthy positive and sweet atmosphere between them, we felt it also and we love them and this show even more for that. With time, they created a family but we felt also like we were a part of this family, because they included the fans into their story, they were so thankful for the love the fans gave to them. I will love to have you stay there for a while and maybe even have your opinion like that for other shows both of us watch ? 😊

2022-01-17 15:27:14 +0000 UTCIt’s fair to say I share all your emotions about The Expanse…although as the cranky, old man that I am, probably not as openly 😀 I “discovered” the show during its first season at a time when I was disappointed in all shows that were available. It quickly became obvious that this was unique in the overall quality of all its production values. And by following cast and crew’s social media posts, their dedication to the show and each other became obvious. I think the proof of this is in the end result of their collaboration. One small example: in the final episode Chrisjen is meditating while listening to a poem being read in Hindi. The voice actor doing the reading was Brian George, who played her husband Arjun in S1 and S2. While the scene may have been unnecessary in the context of the episode, it enabled him to be in the credits of the final episode…something I don’t think other shows would even have considered. Teh entire production crew seems to be as amazing as the show was. It’s been a pleasure to have been on this journey with you. I’ll probably “stick around” for a while if I can.
