This episode was insane : camera on the shoulder, without any environment music, we're really just following Rue, or more running with her, or more she's forcing us to run with her, grabbing our hands because she's now all alone. With her pain, with the pain that she caused to all of her family, her friends, Jules… She's mixing the truth and her lies so well, I think she's even losing herself with that, she doesn't know what is real anymore, how to be real with people. To end in that situation, Rue, you're clearly not yourself anymore.
Sooner, she was saying that Jules abandoned her at the lowest point of her life. Being naked in the bath of a drug dealer to whom you need to repay so much money, while she's giving you drugs because you're so high that you want to die if you don't have something… Rue, clearly, that's your lowest point. I cried, I had to take a break, I had to put the subtitle "Yup, that's a tear on my shirt", I made a hug to myself before making the review… This episode was insane, brilliant, but also exhausting and painful. Like truly, the first definition of it, this episode was about pain.
Oh, and Zendaya deserves PRICES. PLURAL.
