Guys, I wanted to watch this first episode to go back to where everything began, how our characters were, how much they changed but also the things that they kept. And it clearly did the job, like let's just talk about Holden and Chrisjen : Holden was refusing to have more responsibilities, he was a little immature, but at the same time, he already was a sweetheart with girls, he wanted to save someone even if it meant to go against the rules, and he was already honest with Naomi, who appreciated his principles.
And Chrisjen is totally the contrary of who she was before : the fact we have this scene of torture in first episode, she talked about it in last episode… The writers made several parallels like that, that's just amazing. Julie's scene was a prolog (the picture was soooo good during it), but the real first scene of the first episode is with the music of the opening credit… same music which was used for the last scene of the last episode. I love this show so much. Like also, this uncut sequence, now I can see the nice touch it was, to present us the future main characters, the Rocinante Crew.
