Hello !
This episode was almost a break after the last ones and the big combat between Eren and Reiner. To see all of the aftermath of this fight, the people who died, the ones who were injured, why they couldn't follow them directly, how they warned other people to join them and make a plan to have Eren back… But we also saw the emotional consequences of what happened : Krista who wants to "save" Ymir no matter what, Connie who can't believe his friends did that, Armin and Mikasa who were desperate to lose Eren again…
That flashback was so great. First to see all of them before everything, to remember how "pure" they were, but also the things that they keep, with Eren who wants to protect people, to fight for them and he's not gonna give up, Mikasa who would always be there to defend him, Armin who wants to stop the fight. Second because it was great to see Hanes be a part of it, and still be there to give them hope, to represent these old times, their old lives, their family in a way. And finally because it made me think : Mikasa, she knew how to fight already ? Like she was trained by her parents before that ? Like Dr Jaeger visited them on purpose ?
