I swear, my brain freezed when this scene with Hanes happened. I don't know why, but the fact it was not fully on screen, that silence, the sun being like that, I thought it was a light like when they transform into titans, so it was really when the titan chewed something that my brain came back to life : "He-he-he-he died ?" and I had to rewatch it again to be sure. For how great this character was, but also how he was with these three, the family figure he was represented for them, and the fact that he needed also this revenge, that he had to give up on the first time, to save them, and here he wanted to save them again but to finally kill the titan, repay his debts… His death is awful.
During that moment, I was afraid for everyone, for Jean who was badly hurt, Erwin who wanted his soldiers to abandon him, Mikasa who was saying thank you like she was gonna sacrifice herself… So again, when Eren "stopped" the Titan, I was like "what ?". But I totally get with the first action, that the Titans were obeying him. And then again when they went after Reiner. So, you're the "coordinate". How, and more important, how can they know that a person like you exists ?

And then Laura rewound it 😊 and yeah he did say "Mada dane" which I believe means "a little more" or "not yet" - "not yet we go a little bit more" says the guy atop the beast titan. I know the translation from Prince of Tennis 😀

Each time that I'm telling you my theories about the Organization and all, I'm like "Maybe I'm totally wrong and they are laughing at me so much, or maybe even if I'm wrong, things are making sense and can apply to the truth, or maybe I'm right with some aspects but not some others, or maybe I'm totally right and they're gonna think that I cheated, or maybe..." My mind is already tortured to try to understand this anime, and sometimes I'm even torturing it to try to think about what you think etc 🙈😂

2022-02-18 11:02:13 +0000 UTCI do love my tragedies. The set-up for the hopelessness of the situation was so good. At one point, I actually thought this was where the show would end. Really can't wait until you get the answers to all your questions and see if your theories made sense or not.
