I said during the intro that I was worried we didn't see Historia telling her story, I thought that maybe we missed something, so I was really glad to discover that half of the episode would be about it ! And what a flashback… Historia's life was truly awful, the fact that her mother was surely a prostitute for the King, that she never considered her and not only as her daughter, clearly also just as a human being, she regretted that she never had "the courage" of killing Historia… Everyone denied her existence, her mother, her father etc. And to have her being killed like that (I saw during the editing that it was that moment that Kenny mentioned)... Historia, I understand so much more about your character now.
The other big moment of this episode was the flashback with Erwin and his dad. I have the impression, because of his appearance and also what he said to his kid, that he might be the guy we saw at the end of season 2, on the Beast Titan ? Yup, officially, the guy died. But you know my rule about seeing the body of the person supposed to be dead.
