Hello !
That first episode was so great, so promising. We can see the codes of the Vikings universe, with family stories, the big aspect of the religion, historical events, the need to reunite all Vikings to fight together against England… But with a whole new situation, in a new era, with different characters, new issues to resolve. Like you can't tell that it's a pale copy, that they didn't do "enough", for me they really created something else.
These brothers/sisters relationships can evolve, like the characters. One brother, Harald, who intervened to convince his brother to fight, and Vikings to fight together. The other one, Olaf, who wants to convert everyone to christianism, is against pagans Vikings and cares a lot about gold. And we have also Leif and Freydis, who came for a personal revenge, already had it, but now are gonna have to deal with the consequences of it and to find a new path.
